Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 - Black 17x7 +45

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $550
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53, R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

I'm selling the Mini and while I'd love to keep these wheels they will not fit on my new Golf TDi. They're in pretty good condition. There are some rock chips on the spokes and the paint is peeling slightly on one of the inner beads (show in pictures. They're wrapped in Sumitomo HTR ZII 215x45 ZR17, but are pretty bald. New rubber will be necessary.

17x7 45mm offset 4x100 bolt pattern. Per Team Dynamics website, weight is not more than 6.3kg per wheel. I'm not sure what MINI models it will fit besides the r56, but I'm sure it's pretty easy info to come by.

I live in Somerville, MA and work in Hollis, NH so I'm able to meet anywhere between the two to strike a deal. Not interested in shipping, but if I still have them in a month I'll consider it. Please email me at trainer.glenn@gmail.com if your interested. I don't check PMs that often.

hey braminator,

I'm refinishing a set of these PR1s right now. I've got a few in primer and about to finish the others. I have both satin black and gloss black on hand. I see the OP has factory satin finished wheels. Yours look a little glossy, perhaps just cleaned and polished. Would you say your wheels are the same satin as the OPs wheels or are yours glossy painted?

Sorry to thread jack OP - just very relevant. Hope you dont mind.

As a thread bump - these wheels are sweet and very lightweight. Cool thing about the PR1s vs the 1.2 is the spoke design. These guys have more clearance for those with JCW brakes or BBKs.

Man, if you were closer I'd buy these today. Since my clutch started slipping I can't risk driving from Central CT and back.

They are gloss black. Wanted flat black but didn't want to wait 3 weeks for the next shipment. Like the gloss black on silver.

Thanks for all the hype everyone. Nor worries on the thread jacking. Bump for the picture of the wheels on the car. Compare and contrast gloss vs satin.

As I said in the OP I'm not trying to ship them at the moment, but I'm still sitting on them in a little while I consider it.

I emailed you to meet you half way, under inkwelldesign. Are these still for sale?

hey skimm. Thanks for posting that pic. Did you space them out at all? Also, are you on a drop of any sorts? Do you have any head on shots to see the poke of the wheels? I was a little worried about the +45 offset meant for R53s. I figured to order 5mm spacers to balance it out.

My car is running the stock base suspension and no wheel spacers. They definitely fill out the wheel wells better than the stock crown spokes I'm running right now. I added a head on shot that shows this in the OP.

Sorry for the silence everyone. Been crazy busy recently. Here's whats happening. I've got someone who's interested in my car and the wheels. If he decides against the wheels or the car, I'll take the tires off and ship the wheels. I should know by the end of the week if he wants the wheels.

JUST left MASS for NJ TONIGHT and had blowout on 09 clubman runflat - would you accept $250 for the rims given the bald tires - will be back up in a few weeks!
