Yes I already private messaged him. I am waiting for reply from him. I don't need the tires. So I offered a price that I thought was comparable for the shape the rims are in. Thanks again though.

 

Best of luck. I considered them as well, since it's fairly local to me, and the R90 is one of the nicer looking wheels MINI offers.

 

He got back to me. $550 is the lowest he'll go. Once I add shipping it will be close to $700 I think.

Anyone have any advice?

I'm asking because the clear coat on the outer band is coming off on 2 of the rims and 2 of the rims have a small amount of curb rash. Seems to me I've seen similar R90's for around the $400 range in that condition.

I just don't understand how you get curb rash on such nice rims. I've been driving and parallel parking for a long time and I have never dinged up a rim.

 

Those wheels seem to have a problem with the clear coat. They'd be pretty nice to clean up and powdercoat, but you're right, not for that price.
