Interested but aside from the sound it produces does it have a performance in any way?

hamptup - the only performance you would get from it would be if you were running higher boost pressures than stock. the spring in the bov spacer is a liiiiiitle stiffer than the stock valve spring so there will be more force on the valve to keep it closed under higher pressures.

btw there's no spring change... it's literally just a spacer... you might be thinking of the piece i have, the actual BOV... that comes with two spring options and converts the electronic BPV signal into a vacuum actuation...

woops! thank you DUNPHYJ! you are exactly right!!! my mistake hamptup! Im selling just the spacer. The spring i reffered to was from Alta when i had the accessport. So to CORRECTLY answere your question... there is no performance gain. Simply a loud sexy sound every time you shift

the install is very simple. this part attaches to the drive side of the turbo. remove 3 allen head bolts attaching the actuator to the turbo, drop the forge spacer in, put the actuator on the back side of the spacer, insert longer bolts (supplied) and off you go!

it would still fit on an auto. The transmission type doesnt matter, as long as u have the R56 turbo motor this spacer will fit!

as for it being louder than the alta bov im not sure... but i thought the forge spacer was pretty loud, unique sound (loved it), turned heads every time.
