Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $400
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R56, R57
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

All, selling the wheels and tires from my wife's departed '08 Cooper S. When we traded it in, it still had the winter wheels and tires on it. Tires have not been run since June of last year. Wheels are pretty nearly perfect, the only damage being a tiny scuff on the lip of one wheel (pic below), and the general brake dust between spokes that tends to accumulate with whatever pad material BMW decided to employ here.

The tires are old-ish, and though I am a pressure freak (checked every week), and my wife drove very conservatively, and there is plenty of tread (probably 20K miles on the set), they are still getting long in the tooth age-wise (car was purchased in spring of '08). TPMS sensors etc., all intact and functional.

Prefer local pickup but will ship at buyer's expense.

Thanks for looking!

Any idea if these will fit on a '12 Cooper (non-S)?

They should; I don't believe either bolt pattern or offset changed from '08 to '12.

Bump for price drop. Would really like to reclaim the garage space. Thanks!

Would you sell the TPMS sensors alone? I swapped my 11' wheels to my 09' and the car is not happy.

Nah, package deal with all, sorry.

BUMP-ing. Still available. $400.

Please email tenfifteen ( - at - ) gmail ( - dot - ) com. If interested.

If you're within a 30 mile radius of Hanover MD and I'll bring 'em to you for a sixer of Stone IPA or better. They will fit in the back of a Cooper S Hatch though.

They look like 16s, but I thought I'd ask anyway....are they 16s?

If you look at one of the tire pictures closely you can see that they are in fact 16s.

Why are all the BridgeSpokes on the east coast?

Very tempted. I'm in Arbutus. Hmmmm, let me ponder for a moment.

Edit: can anyone confirm that the TPMS sensors will work with my 2013 clubman. I can't deal with the light on...

As the other poster said... yes, they are 16s. Don't believe this style was done in 17s.

Sorry. :(

I can't confirm that. Looked up a couple of different places, found one site that seems to suggest there was an OEM part number switch in '10 across BMW, but whether that means the frequency used to x-mit changed... well, I don't know. Another site sells the same aftermarket TPMS for '08-'12 Coopers, so that seems to suggest that the frequency is the same.

You're close enough that you can swing by some time and mount one up, reset the in-car system and see if it throws an error.

Keep forgetting to add: Recent garage cleanout uncovered an OEM air filter, 2-3 oil filters, full set of wiper blades and an OEM windshield "sun visor." Pretty sure there's a set of untouched carpet floormats from an 'S' (black) as well. All free to whoever removes these wheels/tires from my garage.

Thanks!
