I am looking into a fall M&M Pocono Foilage Run. Either late September or early Octcooper, it will be a Sunday for sure. I have it all mapped out, I use it for our Miata runs. Any dates better than others?

 

RIght now the only weekend the club has tied up is the annual OcktCOOPER Fest on October 1 & 2. If you want Rich and I to go with you, it has to be on a Sunday as I work on Saturdays. Let me know if you need insurance coverage as well so we can take care of that. Please give Rich or I a call at 908-769-MINI to discuss and we can also add it to the calendar that we are getting ready to publish shortly. Let me know before we take it to the printers.

Seeing the turnouts that you get for events, I think it would be good to have the insurance. Lets pencil this in for the second Sunday then in OctCooper. I usually like to do a prerun with key leaders/sweeps prior, so they are comfortable. I will call you soon to go over my ideas. I also work on Saturdays, so most of my runds take place on Sundays too .

Hope for a good turnout at this year's events. For those who didn't go drag racing with us last year, you don't know what you missed. The Island Dragway strip is great for MINIs. I didn't get out of the car all day. It was a blast. Even managed to beat another MCS that has a JCW package on it (mine doesn't). I had a blast!

 

About how long does it take for the website to update? I just checked and it still has last year's events. I'm interested in attending a few
