"Drive-N-Eat" ‘Welcome Spring’ River Country Rally

The "Director" for today's episode is John Weigele "Gizmo"



Starting Location: 300 Corporate Dr, Lebanon, NJ 08833 (Address for Courtyard Marriott of Lebanon)
Hotel will be on the left, look in the parking lot to the right to see me (There will be trees on the right but drive up a bit further to see the parking lot). We will park there in as it is hard to park at the hotel lot.

Please arrive promptly at 10:00AM - we will depart at 10:15AM. ETA at Dilly's Corner is 11:45AM.

This will be a scenic drive through "river country" back roads and along the Delaware River to Dilly's Corner (CASH ONLY restaurant) for a delicious lunch and ice cream.

After lunch we will follow some more nice roads down to the beautiful river town of New Hope, PA to walk around and shop. Please bring change for the metered parking.



Again, remember to bring CASH for lunch, change for the metered parking in New Hope and remember to bring your two-way radios if you have them.

The car number is hovering around 30, head count is at about 40 now.

I will be in a Camden Edition R56 tomorrow, not my blue R53 as I am having serious issues with it (Gizmo is having a month long vacation lol).

I will have an easter egg basket and a note pad so look for me when you arrive.

John, great job today. This event has to be the most attended Drive-N-Eat to date. Minis from as far away as Conn. it's going to be tuff to beat this one.

One driver I had lunch with was from Miami via Boston. He drove his sister's car down for the ride and was going right back

Thank you all for coming! I'm glad I was able to show some unique parts of my area and my favorite place, the airport :-) Maybe next time I'll have a friend of mine who a fly by in his aerobatic plane.
