I like keeping my Mini in the garage also...it's just that trip on the salt ladden roads to get to the garage that I don't like.

More coming Weds.

Isn't winter wonderful

I have determined the solution to all this snow. I am finally going to break down and buy a snowblower. That will ensure that we will have no more significant snow storms for the next XXX years. Kind of like insurance.

Hurry up Pete...get that snow blower on your property ASAP. We're supposed to get more of this white stuff this coming week. I don't think Peggy will be able to keep those Minis clean much longer.

I was amazed how easy it was to back out of the driveway through that foot of the plows left! This is my first non all wheel drive car in 6 years and I'm impressed!

I have been borrowing my next door neighbor's snow shovel for the past 3 big snow storms that we had because the stores are all sold out....like you said.

Oh damn...guess what it just started to do outside! Here we go again!

My contractor just informed me that by weeks end my new garage will be finished. It is being built to house 12 MINIs, or Minis, on two levels in a climate controlled environment. Features include two lifts, all diagnostic instruments, and six tool chests, specifically assembled to service Minis, two full time German speaking technicians, 112" inch flat panel LED screen, and a walk-in cooler fully stocked with English and German beers and ales. We currently have four spots available. We are a non discrimanting estalblishment. Coupes, Convertibles, Camden's, Sidewalk's, JCW's, GP"S, Clubman's are all welcome. We're hoping that someone who has ordered a Rolls Royce edition will consider a spot. Monthly rental is reasonble.

I wanted to hold back on some of our features. We will have a full time certified sommelier, Hans Van Stupenagle, on staff . Hans, as you may know, is considered one of the world's greatest experts of German wines. Please contact Hans directly with your wine suggestions.

RuFus is welcome right next to Lil Gal (man-o-man is she moded outed) , she likes German beer too. I'm sure they'll hit it off, but just give him a heads-up, she's a control freak. We all think it's because of her German heritage. Look forward to seeing you guys.

We didn't buy the GP not to use the GP. I know some people put them away in the garage and have less than 200 miles on them but we bought it used with 32000 miles on it. It was a daily driver then and it is hubbys daily driver now. (unless it snows) He absolutely LOVES driving that car! Actually it's luckier than his other cars have ever been... he takes it to the Hand Car Wash. Also I have a driveway but I don't have a garage.

I'd say the good weather broke a long time ago. Thats why we have the bad weather.

Only 6 more weeks of winter (I count all of February and March as being winter).
