Im heading down tonight to see what the mini can do. Im going to get in some gamblers (bracket racing) also.....anyone want to join? Gates open at 5pm $24 for minimum of 3 runs...if you want to gamble for a pot its an extra $20!

Best I managed was 15.38.....pretty sad considering I have a lot of crap done to the car.

Anyone setting up a MINI meet at E-town any time soon?

I haven't been out yet this year. Not fun to be the only MINI at the dragstrip.

How about Saturday May 9th for the morning session test & tune which starts at 10am? And it's the same day as an SCCA Autocross event at 8am for those that want to see that too. Dunno anything about it. I'm more of a drag racer than an auto crosser. :-)

Anyway, gives people enough time to plan for it. Who's up for a morning of cool air drag racing before it gets really hot out?

It's the north nj region of scca, they always hold their autocross at englishtown parking lot. sounds great, now drag race or autocross , May 9th works for me and I'm only like 20 minutes from e-town

Sorry folks, weather still looks iffy for tomorrow morning. Calling for showers to continue into the early AM and then it should stop by noon. But I know the air quality is gonna suck for drag racing. Ain't worth the trip out to the track. So, sorry, I'm gonna skip E-town tomorrow. I'd rather go on a much nicer day.
