Where are the members from the eastern part of the state? Most of the events seem to happen west of the triangle Speak up if you'd like to see something happening in the east!

 

I think it would be great to have some events in the east!

 

Iwould love to see a beach event.

They allow dogs on the beach after Labor Day... we should be able to drive our MINIs there, I'd think

 

Hmmm, I don't know of any beaches in NC that you can drive on w/out a 4x4.

I broke mine in with that. Took delivery of the new one on Friday morning and drove from Charlotte to Pawley's Island that evening

 

How about a maintenance day in the east? I can provide a nice area to have the event with climate controlled garage space for 3-4 MINIs plus a ton of outside parking/work space. I just need someone with more skills and better tools than mine

If I can get a few people interested I'll set it up

 

Depending on when it is, I'd probably come up. There's a couple things I could do to the car.

 

Lets do a beach run. We do not have to be able to drive on the beach but maybe go to the beach as a group. that would be great. I will looking to the 4x4 and see f there is a spot if you guys want to go out on th ebeach. I will see if we can with out 4x4.

October 15 looks like a good day for me, but it coincides with Eurofest. ECU, UNC & State don't have home games that day.

November 12 also looks good right now... hopefully it will still be warm here.

You need to come down to Eurofest with us, BJ. I know it's a haul for you, but the show's such a blast!

It's HOT!!! 145 degrees during the day last week, mostly in the 120's though. Other than that it's not too bad. I have an aunt that lives in Houston heading to my parents in Austin to get out of the way Rita. More to follow... Todd
