M2C2's annual meeting will be held at Hendrick MINI on Sat. Sept. 24th. The meeting will start at 1:30pm. Afterwards, we'll have a late lunch or early dinner at one of the area restaurants.

Hendrick MINI is located at 6800 E. Independence Blvd. (Hwy 74) in Charlotte, NC.

Come on out, meet your new club officers, and voice your thoughts about what you'd like to see happen in YOUR club!!

We are now less than a month out on this.....do we have an agenda of the items demanding our attention yet?

I am also wondering if we have a cutoff date (or have already passed it) to submit motions to be considered, discussed or voted on at this meeting. If there are any such motions already in place, I am not aware of them.

An initial agenda is being worked on now that several major club priorities have been addressed. A cut off date for new items won't be set as new ideas crop up all the time. At the last meeting two of the items taken care of weren't even thought about until the day of the meeting.

If you, or anyone else, have an item you'd like to see discussed at the meeting feel free to PM me with your request. I'll se it's added to my list.

 

Just an update.

Hendrick MINI will be offering their entire boutique items to M2C2 members at 15% discount the day of the meeting.

They will also be giving away some door prizes during our meeting.

I have had some members say we need to find a different location for our early dinner after the meeting.

Help me find some place else. It needs to be fun have plenty of room and a big parking lot.

Let's here some ideas from the Charlotte Chapter.

 

Keep in mind the traffic on Independance Blvd when making your selection...

 

It'd be nice if we could get a little idea of how many people would like to eat with us after the meeting. Might make finding another place easier.

I will be at the usual place {Citgo at I85 & Hwy 14, Greer} at 10:30 and leaving promptly at 11:00 am for the drive to Charlotte. Who is going to motor with me?

This annual meeting will start with me being the Charlotte Chapter VP and end with me being just a club member and Sarah taking over as the Charlotte VP.:smile:

Since our chapter is hosting this annual meeting in Charlotte I am hoping we have a great turn out. I have arranged for some very special door prizes, but you have to be there to win.

I think I have found a good place for us to eat after the meeting, but let me make sure before I post the location.

Both Robin and I will be at the meeting.. and should be able to make dinner as well. Any idea how long the meeting will last?

Past experience says the meeting will run around 1.5 to 2 hours. We'll probably eat around 4pm.

 

One last bump! Hope to see every out in Charlotte tomorrow. We've go plenty to talk about, plenty of discounts, and plenty of giveaways!

 

I just wanted to thanks everyone who came out to make our meeting an overwhelming success! I feel we accomplished a good deal. Minutes will be posted either on this forum or sent out via email as soon as we can get them together to let everyone know what transpired.

The annual meeting went great. I wanted to say thank you to all that showed up. I think we had about 38 members and had 2 new members join.

We had a lot of great give aways and would like to thank the following.

Steve Treece for all the the nice products.
Zack Thomas from Eagle Embroidery for all the nice shirts, hats and other items
Scott The Grille Guy for the 2 grilles.
Hendrick MINI for all the support and making sure everyone received a MINI coffee mug. If you saw me walk out with 3 I got one for Chris B. and Chris S. that were unable to make the meeting.

After the meeting about 20 of us went to lunch.

We need to see some pictures.
