The March Quarterly Meeting will be held at Hendrick MINI in Charlotte, NC. Ed Keady, the manager at Hendrick MINI, has been gracious enough to host this meeting and George has been great at following up with some of the planning.

Please note: These Quarterly Meetings are held to provide a forum for old and new members to meet and discuss club business. Although the members may come up with great ideas and discuss what direction they would like to see the club moving in, any decisions that need to be made by the whole club will not be voted on at these meetings. All members will be given an opportunity to vote electronically after the meeting.

Please watch this thread for any other details. George should be posting some further info shortly. Why should you watch, cause George is the man and he rocks!

I'm thinking that he said the 12 of March, but I could be wrong...if that's the case, it's only 3 weeks away! Even if it's the 19 of March, that's still 4 weeks away!

I know we wanted to move this meeting around to other locations. If we are unable to do that I would be glad to ask Ed at Hendrick if we could have the meeting there again. I will be seeing him on Saturday.

Any thoughts???

 

The original plan ws for the quarterly meeting to be held a Flow, but due to their lack of support, it looks like it'll be at Hendrick MINI in Charlotte, thanks to the efforts of George. The date is March 12. It looks like the Columbia Chapter will be hosting the June meeting at Fryer's Topiaries, details on that in the works right now..

March 12! That's during the ACC b-ball tournament you know. You guys gonna make me choose between 2 of my greatest passions--Minimania and Tar Heel hoops????? I actually don't know the times of the games that day, so they may play that night. So if they do, I'll be at the meeting but if not, I gotta go with my Heels (that is if they don't loose the day before ). I mean I love being with you guys and all but....

Since the meeting is March 12 at Hendrick, which is two weeks away from this Saturday, hello!!!! Does anyone have a time???? I'm planning on coming down for this as well as other people from the Raleigh area, but we really need to have a time so all people from out of town can plan.

Okay, what's wrong with this picture? This thread was started a week ago on Feb 18th. The meeting date was set at the last quarterly meeting. So far we've heard nothing out of the President, or VP, pertaining to when and where this is going to happen. It's not listed in the upcoming events thread, and is on the M2C2 calender only through the efforts of another person.

This is not a chapter get together, or a tech party, or a fun drive. It's a duly ratified club business meeting! Shouldn't this be treated with as much, if not more, import than any of the above events? After all, this is one of only four times during the year where we, as a club, can gather to exchange ideas in person on where we'd like to see the club go.

Also on the 18th George posted offering to check with the Charlotte dealer about meeting there again. There's been no response by our "leaders" to this, either. I say go for it George. There's business to be discussed!

 

I will step up and say I agree 210% with Bob on this! The date was put out back at our December meeting, and there should have been a post about this by now telling or should I say confirming a date and time so everyone can make arrangements. March 12 is two weeks away and we still technically don't have a place or time! This isn't right.

If George has worked it out with Hendrick, then I say let's go on and have the meeting. There is business to be addressed and the meeting should go on as planned. If there was a problem with the meeting date, it should have been stated before now.

At our last quarterly meeting we all brought some holiday treats to munch on. Please bring a snack of some kind to share. Hendrick will be providing a table and Debiw will be bringing paper plates and tableware.

We will have a vendor stopping by the meeting and Ed Keady hopes to be able to tell us about an event that Hendrick MINI will be planning for us. You do not want to miss this one.

See you next Saturday. Remember Hendrick MINI's service is open from 9:00AM until 5:00AM.

We will be going to an early dinner after the meeting. There is a great Mexican place just down the street with lots of room and plenty of parking. All are welcome.

I may not be there this weekend. Just really depends on how I feel. I haven't been feeling well this week.

Black Powder is planning on going up for the quarterly meeting... I'll be at Century MINI until noon, then I'm heading the opposite direction on I-85 to Atlanta

 

Would I be able to pay my dues for the joining fee for the M2C2 club at the meeting?
