I know this was started in another thread but I thought I would bring more positive re-enforcement to it by creating a new one!

There is a meet setup (from reading the other post, and hoping I don't look like a fool) at California Dreaming Parking Lot at 11:45am on Saturday, Dec. 4th.

Anyone that can make please let us know. It seemed we had a few from Myrtle Beach and Savannah as well as the Charleston folks going. It would be good to meet everyone within range.

Hopefully this can be the start of getting the Charleston Chapter started.

Maybe two more from Myrtle beach area will make it. My classic 1974 Mini guy had to back out do to work. Also Brad Davis from Mini of Charleston has agreed to give us some gifts to hand out. Im going by the dealership to pick up whatever they give us. We can put names in a hat at lunch and draw for the gifts for everyone that is present. See yall Saturday. Glad to hear you will make it. Please let me know if you need me to pick anything up from MINI for you so you don't have to worry (I drive by there every day on my way into the office).

How have you been since our Morganton/Lake James run we had here in July?

Don't know if you heard or not, but the resturant where we ate, Judges, was flooded during one of the hurricanes and is not planning to re-open.

I heard you guys had something in Myrtle Beach recently. Was that right?
I can't come to the Charleston event this weekend. Any plans for another event in Myrtle Beach for early spring???? I'd love to come down there for one.

Well guys, how did it go??

 

It went well! We had about 8 or 9 cars, a fun dinner, and a good gab session. Well worth the drive down! I haven't checked but there may be some responses posted on the thread in the SE forum.

 

Had a blast! It was awesome to meet everyone. I do owe lunch to moorlockx and lspearman lunch nex time for losing them... The spirited driving got a little out of hand on my part


Can't wait until the next time we get together

Only because of the 3 other cars that managed to slip into the line in the parking lot and that stop light! Not to worry though as it worked out well in the end.

 

It was great! Can't wait to do it again.

 

It was a good meeting lets do another one soon. I was surprised to see when I was catching up to the pack that I did not lose Murmin in his JCW.
