Sorry everyone but I am having some more medical problems and I will not be able to attend Autofair and Mini Rose is stuck at Hendricks. They do not think it is cancer related but I have to have some tests run.

Terri and I plan to have dinner at the Speedway Club afterwards. Any and all are welcome to join us. We'd love the company. Hopefully we won't have any of that business we had last time go on. Can't wait to see everyone and I may try to make Sue G's famous Salty Oatmeal Cookies. Yum Yum - Wish me luck!

 

Sorry, but I will not be able to attend. No time this week to get the Cooper ready for the show. Also need to watch the grandkids this weekend.

Can someone send me the address to where we are supposed to meet tomorrow morning? Once we park the cars can we walk around etc? Do we have to stay till the end of the show? Will they be handing out awards etc and if so for what?

YES... you wil be able to walk around after your car is parked.

Where we are located, we basically need to stay until the end - probably can leave between 4 and 5.

YES... there are awards - best of show and a few runner ups. The awards are very nice and they are handed out by club. If it was last year, the Miata Club will judge our beloved Coopers and we will in turn judge their cars.

I will miss everyone tomorrow.

Please post pictures and let everyone know who won what.

Congrats to all the winners, I bet you all looked good! I would like to invite all of you not going on the run next weekend to Dobson, NC next Saturday to one of the best car shows in the area- "The Gathering"- put on by The Triumph Car Club of the Carolinas. Congratulations to everyone for freezing then burning up after the sun finally got to us. I understand they had so many complaints saturday and sunday they may go back to the way it was. If your not going to Hots Springs run the car show is great. I have done it and very nice venue. Thanks to all who came out saturday and sunday. I am tired so I am going to cut the grass, go figure?
