Members need your help

As you know we are in the process of changing our web site and also we will be taking in some of Georgia. See post on new chapter. Also need some ideas of the website. M2C2.org will no longer be used. What will we call it mym2c2c,com? 1m2c2.com, thought of Carolinasm2c2.com, but since we are getting ready to include parts of Georgia, that will have to change also. I know you all can come up with some good names for our website? Do we want to keep the m2c2 or go with something new. This is your club, so lets hear some ideas.

I vote to keep it M2C2 and for M2C2.com as the website address.

M2C2 is already well established and even though the new chapter would reach over the state line (GA) the main body of the club resides in NC/SC.

Yes, I want to keep the m2c2 also, but m2c2 has been taken so we need to put something in front or after like 1m2c2.com and Shelly we just don't know what happened can not get the webmaster to respond to either email or phone calls. The site was sold to someone in Az and we are not paying ransom. I have talked to some of the originators of the club and they don't have any answers either so we are going with new site one in which we can keep everything in check. Need some ideas on this one so we can get it up and running.

Hopefully it wasn't bought by speculators that knew we were looking to take over that site designation. I'm guessing that's what you mean by paying a ransom.

We could be M2C2Original

We can always just spell it out instead of initials... just be sure to bookmark it so you don't have to keep typing out the entire name.

Nice.

Could be an instigative sticker though. Might be taken the wrong way by some less secure drivers.

M2C2.us sounds good to me.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We have decided on m2c2.us and the web site is being put together as we speak. Going to the site and even tho it is not complete, you will see that this is going to be user friendly. Thanks again for your suggestions!

I like M2C2.us - I trust our Georgia friends won't be offended.

I went to the site, not bad so far. Who's MINI is that on the banner? Any way we can change that too? Maybe to either Luke's, Carol's, or Doc's car? There are a few other things I have to point out, but maybe they will be touched up by the end... it's just a few edges...

This brings back memories of when we created the original m2c2.org website.. Then revamped it to the current website 2 years ago...
I guess I'm going to have to change my signature, too......

I checked out the new site (www.m2c2.us) - it's easier to navigate - 1st suggestion would to be to remove the m2c2.org from the club sticker soon. New browsers/members might be a little confused. Other than that I can't wait to see it live

Are we going to have our own forum on the new website or will we have to still post here?
