Its hard to believe another year has almost come and gone. This year we have grown in active members, although our general membership is down. I think if we keep having events, activities the the overall Club will continue to grow. All Offices are up for election. We still need someone from Asheville and Raleigh to step up to the plate. I am asking that everyone please send in your 2008 dues along with membership form and waiver. They can be downloaded from our webpage. If your membership dues for 2008 are paid the club will pay for your meal and 1 guest at the Annual Meeting. Also we are planning a Christmas Party and if you are paid up that will be free also. So don't wait til last minute. Sending them in early will help the Treasurer and Secretary from being flooded all at once.
Our Annual Meeting will be held at Jimmies Restrauant in Mint Hill NC. Address 7024 Brighton Park Drive. It can be seen from Hwy 51 in the Lowes Food store Shopping Center. Choice of Vegetable Plate, Chicken & Dumplings, Country style steak over rice, Country fried chicken with cream gravy, Grilled pork chops, or Oven baked spaghetti served with a saled and garlic bread only. All are served with choice of two vegetables and complimentary soup. Veggies are Mashed potatoes, Green beans, Limas, Macaroni & cheese, Black eyed peas, Cabbage, Fried squash, Tossed salad, Potato salad, Sliced peaches, Cucumber salad, Applesauce or Pasta salad.
I look forward to seeing you all and be sure to tell your VP's any ideas that you would like to do. Its your Club, and a club is no better than its members. Remember MITM II Colorado, Mickey & Mini's Orlando, Florida, EuroFest Spartanburg SC, Lowes Speedway AUTOFAIR, British Car Club Car Show Columbia SC, British Car Club Western NC, Car Show Chimney Rock Park and British Car Show Britts & Battleship Wilmington NC beside the Battleship North Carolina. Coming up January 2008 2nd Annual Charity Drive.

I will check on it for you Anna. Just got back from Colorado and we had a blast and the 3 best looking cars there. We will be in DisneyWorld with Mickey and Mini"s or I would go to the car show. Jason if you want to run for office you can nominate yourself at the meeting. Everyone please get your dues in and lets have a great meal and did I mention door prizes? Yes and hopefully guest speaker from Mini.

 

I would be willing to run for something, I just don't know what. I would love to help in any way I can. This club has become family, and anything I can do to help see it grow would be a good thing for me. Anyone have an idea of something I could do?

Yes its the 22nd September. 1 PM. It is there 1st attempt at newsletter and they did good. Just a few type errors and it will get better. I thought they did a good job.
