^^^ I haven't yet experienced the "joy" of taking the front clip off or putting it into service mode. Thinking I'd rather have a cold beer...

It was slow at first, but after doing it a half dozen times I can have a beer while doing it!

Well, the Roach is done again. The balancer has split so I'm awaiting the replacement now. Unbelievable luck I'm having... Lol

Sorry to hear it man. Replacing with an ATI one?

I was kind of surprised when I took mine off - the stock one looked perfect. Was having some noise from the right side of the engine and replaced the balancer and the tensioner - must have been the tensioner, I suppose.

I'm going with the PRW balancer this time. I have a PRW on my other race car that's been superb, plus I could get it faster than the ATI.

I got the old balancer off last night with the puller, and it was pretty easy compared to some I've pulled. It did come off in 3 pieces so I'm fortunate I had been chasing issues and didn't drive it unnecessarily creating more issues.

The new PRW arrived today so I'll fit it this evening and take a test drive.

Easy install tonight, and the test drive afterwards was uneventful which was good!

The PRW is a nice piece, equal to the other PRW balancer on my LS engine. I'd recommend this part for sure.

The dots with the paint pen are just there to be a quick reference check that the bolt has maintained it's torque. I do that on all my balancers that aren't pinned.

Been a good couple of months, just still messing with A/C but that's not a big deal.

I had one side of my fuel tank brace snap so after reading up on it, I decided to upgrade to the post facelift two price brace. The older one piece brace makes no sense, plus alit of extra work for no reason on my opinion.

I cut the old brace out, what was left, and then easily installed the two piece brace with no fuss

Old rusty brace in pieces ...

New two piece installed. All better now!

With that done, I still need to install the new hatch cable under the rear seat. Just waiting on cooler weather now for track days as work will slow down in the fall.
