Thx man, I like them too. Some tree somewhere nearby is blooming, I can wash it daily but I dont feel like it :P This was the third set btw...
1) ordered tips that were too long (stuck out way too much), they were 170mm in total
2) ordered 120mm tips (overall length), got 2 different tips delivered...
3) ordered these 120mm tips, custom size without any logos, finally delivered correctly :D

Sounds like the type of headaches I deal with when messing with exhaust systems lol. I've revised mine no less than 9 times now .
And we had these evergreens at our old house that would blow so much pollen out in the spring months that it looked like a yellow fog in the air!!! It was awful!

Ah speaking of which, after a month of delay my Simons "handy" silencer finally arrived (stainless steel shortage). I will start working on it thursday night. It has the same dimensions as the resonator, so should be straightforward. Also the Simons silencer does not require welding as I can just slide it on and use 2 exhaust clamps. Hopefully that will get rid of the highway drone...

Was finally able to go to work! The Simons muffler has great build quality
Perforated insides
Simons muffler next to the resonator
Muffler in place!
The insides of the resonator, behind the perforated section, no material could be spotted (anymore?)
Had to buy a section of stainless pipe as I miscalculated hehe
And the end result beneath the car. Happy with the result, the drone has been reduced even further, but the overall exhaust sound as well. I will need to get used to that, as I was used to the pretty loud exhaust note (including pops and bangs). But for longer trips, this is the better choice.

Interesting updates! Surprised that a short silencer can (250mm / 9.8") would achieve such noticeable noise reduction results. As outlined in my (sig) thread topic, I replaced the new Miltek res-pipe with Miltek non-res-pipe version to gain additional clearance to top of tunnel and eliminate vibration rattles. Accomplished that but would prefer quieter in cabin under load (must talk fairly loud if with passenger when driving up steep grades). Modding my current non-res-pipe to insert same Simons can would be fairly simple but suspect Simons can OD (125mm / 4.9") is equivalent to Miltek specs, thus no gain in clearance. Yet another reminder "no free lunch" with performance mods!

I dont know the brand my man, they were already on the car when I bought it. Proper carbon GP inserts, looks much better than the stock look imho
