while we were motoring around this weekend, my fiance asked if we could swing by Home Depot. she wanted to take a look at some flowers they were selling out in the parking lot. normally, this type of activity wouldn't hold my interest for long, but we were in the MINI, so i was feeling generous.

while she looked at pansies and daisies and such, i stayed by the car and fielded a bunch of "what is that" and "who makes it" type questions. everyone who stopped by was very impressed.

now, imagine my surprise when Ingrid comes back to the MINI with a shopping cart FULL of flowers and plants! at first i was thinking, there's no way that's going to fit in the boot. but i was wrong. the cool part was that i had just dropped by the dealership and picked up a Boot Box a few days before, and the customizable compartments came in really handy. we organized all the plants, and the Boot Box held them steady and separated all the way home. Ingrid, who had initially scoffed at the Boot Box when i brought it home, was now the biggest advocate. "that was only $80? what a bargain!" she said!!!

Nice, but how many large bags of cypress mulch do you think the Mini can handle? (8! plus some misc plants) But its not a big challenge if you've owned a classic Mini & had to transport stuff. That's when you get ingenious at loading. Your not whipped (much, flower boy)

8 bags of mulch is gonna be a tough record to beat.

funny thing is, she borrowed the car a few weekend ago, and when she got back called me to the garage to help her carry "some stuff" - which to my surprise was 2 bags of 'sierra red mulch' and a bunch of bags of Miracle Grow dirt stuff.

i nearly passed out (the MINI was about 5 days old at the time - and she had left to "go shopping&quot

That's pretty cool, that's a nice pic, do you think that the $80 is worth it, or should I just leave my boot alone?

I just got the little shelf for forward of the cig. lighter.....another "gift" from the hubby you loves all these lil storage gizmos for my car. The glove box organizer was another gift last fall. It's pretty handy, BTW.

Now he wants to get the $150 armrest/storage thingmabob
