Gallons, that is. I continue to see references to a reserve in addition to the 13.2 gallon tank specification. The book says that the tank capacity is 13.2 INCLUDING reserve. Anyone put in more than this (at a station they trust)?

 

Saw the title, was going to go into the long emotional investment, which is still ongoing and only because? Yes, you know why. After all, would the Skuzzball actually miss a day without whining? Back to the topic at hand....why is my investment still costing me?

$300 worth of groceries every other week. LOL When I read the title of the post I thought this was going to be a thread about how much junk one could fit in a Mini.

 

Mine will hold 8 kids, 4 hound dogs, and the piggy I stole from the shed.

My cooper is supposedly 10.6 gallons including reserve, but my MA but 12.6 gallons in it when I picked it up.

I put 12.34 gallons in last night w/ 2 bars remaining. 348 miles on the tank. I would say all but 70 miles of it city driving.

 

When you folks filled the tank with the "excess" gallons, what did your mileage remaining readout say?

We put 14 gallons into a non-S. Not sure what's up. The tank is only supposed to be 12ish. Maybe they went to a standard tank for both cars. Hope so.
