Even though I'm not quite an owner, I did a search for The Official Lightning Blue Owners Club. Being jealous of the Indie Blue and Hyper Blue Owners Clubs, I thought it's high time for us Lightning Blues to get a club.

And can't we all just get along? Maybe form an Official Blue Owners Club, to be all-inclusive. We have different shades of skin color, but we're all blue MINIs.

 

So, are we making a club? My Lightning Blue is scheduled for week 14.

 

Let's not ignore the cool blue rag tops out here.... The Blue Mini Group?

what happens when you order from a dealer and wont be back in the states until early june to pick her up. i love the color

 

Looks like I'm the 5th official member of this startup club.
I should be united with my MINI sometime in early July.

 

Mine is showing up soon too!! I've only seen one Lightning blue out here so there will soon be two. I'm member six then!! Yeah!!!!

 

I've had mine since early March, with just a bit over 3400 miles so far. Great color, huh.

Sure gforce23 here it is- MCSa LiB/B with sunroof, comfort access, pacific blue color line, punch leather carbon black and chrome line exterior.

My LY/W MC turned a slight shade of cool blue briefly in the garage during our ice storm during Jan. Would that make me a semi-member??

 

I’m switching my alliance. I’ve traded in my chili red for a lightning blue MCS. It was another one of those rash (without forethought) things that I keep doing. I just went to the dealer to have my key reprogrammed and ended up buying a new car.

"Lightning Betsy" is at the dealer now being prepped. I will be there Thursday morning when the doors.

I am definately thinking about going LiB/LiB when I order... because they don't offer the MCS in Orange or Nightfire Red

Yeah. It came from trying to get excess after-market touch-up paint off your hand, because MINI still hasn't figured out how to sell it in the US.

 

Don't know about the "new black", but I love the color. Couldn't go with anything else MINI offers !

The Lightning Blue MINI below is about a week old in the photos below. Its now two weeks old with about 1000km on the clock......oh yeah, still heaps of fun

Not sure what is, isn't standard in US. Stock for AUS included front/rear fog lights, MFSW, ASC+T (also ABS and CBC, but I think that is standard for you guys too).
