First of all I would like to say I have searched thoroghly for this and cnnot find it. So if there is a thread about this sorry.

Now on to th e question. I have been given a MCS front bumper from a fellow NAMer and would like to see how much it will cost to have it painted from Liquid Yellow to Astro Black and installed on my MC. I was recently in an accident and have a little more than $550 to do the job. Tht is what the offenders insure gave me, and it will cover the job if I dont get the S bumper, but the S bumper was free. So how much to get the bumper painted an installed, anyone. Can I afford to do it?

 

Installed is easy; couple of 10mm headed bolts, 2 philips head screws (all under the bunper) 2 torx ( I think 30's) and 2 8mm bolts in the fender well.

As for prep & painting I think your $550 should be enough.

Give the folks at Import Paint and Body Shop at 6173 E. Independence Blvd. in Charlotte a call. They support the club lending us a place for detail clinics. Owner is (or was) a MINI owner shoe he understands our needs.

Call around a couple of local body shops and ask them what they would charge to paint a bumper that's already off the car. That's what I did when I wanted my mirror caps painted.
