Saw my first R56 on the road today :-)

Well today while driving north on SR 315, what did I see, but a R56 Cooper going the other way. Chili Red & White. Have no fear R56 owners, it's still a MINI. Looked pretty good to me.

Went to the dentist in Philadelphia today, parking on the street, and wouldn't you know the only spot is right in front of a CR/W R50. I parked my CR/B R56 right in front of it, proudly big and beefy in front of its thin and svelte!

Finally! Pics of a DS/W!

All I've been seeing is DS/B or Sparkling Silver/BLK.

I definatly made the right choise. Thanks!

Is Hooterville named that for the reason I'm hoping?? Also, how can I join the Old Fart Club? I'm sure I qualify!

Be it R53 or R56, one can never go wrong with DS/W. A truly stunning color choice!

If you're hoping for a town full of likable hicks then....yes, it's what you're hoping for.

If you feel like you should be in the Old Fart Motoring Club, well heck you're in.

I am surprised that I have only seen 2 new R56s here in the streets of Miami, which is the MINI capital of the USA. Well, make that 3, 2 friends took delivery of new R56's this past week.

Is this car selling well?

By the way, one of my buddies got a new R56 Astro Black MCS with Chrome and looks very good. The bloated R56 facade gets toned down with dark paint colors.

C4: In the first two months of 2007 Mini has already delivered over 26,000 new Mini vehicles all over the world. I'd consider that a success.

Here's a press conference transcript from Motoringfile for further info: http://motoringfile.com/2007/03/07/m...how/#more-5632

I saw my first R56 on the road today - A CR/B Cooper S. Looked good to see one on the road. At first I thought it was an R50/53, but then the chrome-trimmed black grill caught my eye and I realized it was an R56. I'd seen them at the dealer and test drove one, but I was surprise to see one in my city already since it is 120 miles to the closest dealer.

Great looking car! Love those 17" Crown Spoke Wheels.

Did you order standard performance tires or all weather tires?

What exactly are the tires that are on your car (manufacturer .. style .. etc.)?

I saw a truckload of them, literally, on the way to work yesterday morning on 95 here in Ormond.

Unfortunately, my wife scammed our R56 for her commute that day.
