Installed iPod Video using Nav Display
with the video switch from TVANDNAV2GO. I bought it used in the Martketplace..... Went pretty smooth except for one thing.... I'm hooking up an iPod video to the nav screen/aux port, and I can't find the four connector mini-jack plug and socket! I wanted to modify the aux port connector so that it was a clean install, instead I'll add RCA plugs for Right and Left audio and Video. Then it's just a single cable to hook up.
Works pretty good too! I put the module in the nav case, but had to lengthen a bunch of the wiring for the run under the carpet to the front and back consols.
One thing I did learn was that the dishwaser does a great job of cleaning the consols! I took them all apart, and did the painted parts by hand. Put the big pieces in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes and they came out great! I've had my car over 4 years and they were pretty spuzzy....
One other thing is that the switch only does video. I'm thinking of making an auxiliary switch for the audio, so that I can acutally use both video inputs, and add a DVD player into the glove, and not have to screw with cables as the audio would switch with the video source.... Just a bit more work....

Yep...
and the stereo comes out the factory stereo via the aux input. The plan is to play photo slideshows that will keep the girl from fussing (she's two...). There are a lot of ways to get this done......
