Me too.. I havent yet but im leaning to attaching it to my Driver side sun shade. Other spots bottom of the steering wheel since i have the two spoke design. the Driver side defroster where some have put there Gtech. Currently using it as intended on the windshield so its just below the rear view mirror

See I can't put it on my window. Its illegal here in CA. Im thinking about drilling a hole in the dash and mounting it through there.

I'm planning on mounting my Sirius plug and play unit through the dash. I've pulled the center color trim piece off, and moulded into the back side are two cylinders, in just the right spot to put the device to the side, just below the vent, and high enough that it won't block the radio. Drill through the cylinders, and run the bolts through.

A good mount for GPS units is the Kuda mount. Puts your GPS device up where you can readily see it. KUDA

Ok made a quick mounting for the TOMTOM .. which also allows it to be moved from car to car easily

What i did is get a piece of Stiff plastic a type that the suction cup will hold on to and double side taped it to the Defrost ring as shown

Yeah i know its a very rough cut. I wanted to make sure it worked before i trim it further

Been riding around for a bit and seems to hold even on the potholes and rough bumps around here

yes, but my unit is currently in a undisclosed location so i can't physically look at it. I will have a clear answer (if the one below doesn't work) when I pull it out.

But you have to enable all options to be available (or i had to on mine). Then go to settings/options and it's on the 3rd screen in on the top right hand corner.

Thanks! Ill check it out. It was kind hard to get used to. This was a replacement of my Nuvi 350 that was stolen. The navi in my G35 is very straight forward. This one just mixes me all up. haha
