New video from this weekend

Hello all.
I just made this video over this past weekend.
its just 2 1/2 min. long but I'm really proud of it.
Plus its always fun taking Penelope through the twisties in SoCal.
Enjoy and tell me what you think.
Just don't get sick like all of my other passengers...

Cool video

But based on past videos (Dragon Contraversy) I'm going also drop an IB4TL just in case.

Well I knew this wasn't an original idea, duh, these types of videos are everywhere and not just with MINIs. I've just always wanted to do one. Plus it was a good way to pass the time yesterday.

Damn!

For some reason I cannot see the video! I hear the audio, it sounds like AFI, but the image does not appear! I want to see this bad. I live in Santa Barbara and would love to see the home turf. What road are you on? Tell me how I can fix this.

Thanks

You need the latest shockwave to see this since it is through MySpace. Good Call on the Audio by the way. ("Total Immortal" by AFI)
The first Part is the tunnels on Kanan Rd. and the in-car view is on Yerba Buena Rd.

Nice! But what you really need is a Vacucam! Here's some footage from that same road...I did this for M7 using my VacuCam Pro system.

YUP IB4TL. Suggest future video gear budget be diverted to a driving school! Probably better max out your liability insurance too.

But now I'm not so sure after the support from a moderator

I think the music was a good choice, but maybe next time lower the volume a little so we can hear the mix of the S/C and the music.

Well thanks everyone for the compliments and the criticism
My Liability is already maxed out, and I've been very eager to take driving lessons. I plan on doing so when I get back next summer from my 6 month deployment to Japan.
By the way, anyone know of some good ones for MINI's here in SoCal. I'm sure there's a ton. Like, maybe WillowSprings or Palmdale.
Thanks again everyone.

I was wearing my Vendor Hat, not the Moderator Hat when I made the post. I tried to watch the whole video, but the Blair Witch Project style was making me nauseaus, that's why I suggested he needed a more stable mount.

I find it really funny all the comments about how any driving video is posted. Have any of you even driven the canyons in LA?? I didn't see any racing involved. Of course I didn't watch the whole video, but these roads are very different from the public highway like the Dragon.

Just join BMWCCA and participate in the local AutoX's with us. You can have the instructor present or not, and you'll really improve your driving skills. Tracking is fun, but totally different. Something to do atleast once, and they when you really want to learn how to control your MINI, AutoX it.

Keep an eye out on the SoCal forum
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...splay.php?f=27

Here's info on the autocross that just happened in San Diego
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=79565

We usually run either at Hollywood Park (Torrance) or California Speedway

Read the first post here of this thread on how to become a BMWCCA member
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t=71585&page=3

Takes just seconds to register on line, then you can go to any of the events throughout the year.
