Brake Caliper pics?

Has anyone painted their brake calipers orange? If so, was it sprayed, or brushed on? And did you remove them from the car 1st? Do I need to remove them from the car 1st? Anyone have any pics? (sorry for all the newbie questions )

Brushed on. I used to have a how to posted, but I think the picture hosting server is down. I used the (k2/g2?) kit from Tire Rack

Brushed mine on too without removing them. Mask off your rotors pretty well. Caliper paint on rotors seems like a bad thing. G2 kit from Tire Rack is great.

An SOS pad does a pretty good job... but if you've got a dremel handy.. pick up some wire brush bits and it make's quick work of all that rust 'n crap..

I just ordered the new Orange Brake Caliper Paintsystem Set from G2 today
http://www.prwebdirect.com/releases/...rweb418750.htm

Once the weather gets colder I'll pull the wheels off for a good cleaning & paint the calipers as well. I completely dig that S on your calipers Partsman, but I dunno that it'd look good w/ the orange?

Yep - It's orange! It's actually a little more like the reflector than Hot Orange.
