A fool and his money is soon parted...

It's total BS... If it worked, the auto industry would be using it or something similar...

You would obtain the same results by doing a little dance while waving a headless chicken over your car.

There's always somebody wanting to oil your snake. Vortex generators, exhaust spinners, atomizer screens, magic ignition boxes, and on and on.

Always been that way, always will.

But if your snake doesn't squeak, it doesn't need oil. And if you don't own a snake, well, the answer's clear.

I'd get one of those sweet M7 Plasma Boosters instead.

Yes...it'll save you about 22.5 gallons over the life of the car,
since you'll have $70.00 less to buy gas with.

Do they work .. yes.

Do they work as well as claimed... NO

Do they work with a car that has a flow altering device after there device. NO.. any swirl effect is losted the moment it gets compressed in the Supercharger. Making it totally ineffective on a MCS.

IF it worked would they be using it in manufacturing. . Um they do in a sense. ever heard of a swirled head, Throttle body spacers , etc... Mainly used to draw out that extra 1-2 HP and a few extra pounds of torq on a highly tuned engines. Which is ok for the racing world where the crew chief want any bit advantage as possible no matter how small.

Can this difference be felt on the street... Reallity .. um nope no butt dyno is that good. Just like with the CAI and filter replacement. Do to engine roar and mental illusions you may think there is an improvement. When in many cases theres acturally a lost in performance.

So is it worth getting.. If you have an MCS .. Nope its snake oil..

I tried that and it worked!!!!

In all seriousness... am I wrong, or is this the non-S forum? What are all of these MCS-people doing here? Is the M7 thermostat designed for any Cooper or just the S-model? The info on the site refers to intercooler temps and dones not specify if their device is designed for both S and non-S applications.

Mini Mania is the only outlet selling them at this point but it is the same product we had but in a different package. I think the price is still about the same as when we had it in our lineup. Thanks for the mention tho.

it really turns me off when i watch a show on the speed channel like "two guys garage" where they are supposedly experts and credible, then they accept snake oil peddlers like this for advertisements. they were a sponsor of that show recently.

no credibility anymore.
