Invida Exhaust Installed

I installed the Invida Exhaust for about a week now, and I am very happy with the results. The exhaust isn't that loud compared to my other cars. It is really an easy install and the welding is great. For $650 I don't think you can get any other exhaust at that price. I picked it up at Oneworldperformance and it was a great buy.

Glad to hear it Wait until you get it on the dyno, great sound! Mine got louder with the TB and the header. Just keeps sounding better! I'm sure it will get a little louder when I install my new head! not ricy at all, but a good deep tone. -- Johan

I posted in that thread. What I believe, is, that system is 1 of their first. The pictures show failures at the welds due to the material used for the weld. Others with the same system have not had similar problems, to my knolwedge.
I can only speculate on what I see in the pictures & it appears that the welding material is not the same as the material used on mine ( 40+ years metalsmith ). This dammage should have been covered by Invidia & still may be. The melted fiber glass is a different problem & I can't say how that happened. However, even though the car had some track time, that muffler should not have failed so soon.
I don't, personaly, know anyone with an Invidia that have had any problems ( I only know 3 people other than myself with this system & none of us track our cars ).

Another $.02 worth

Yup that was my thread, I would be interested to hear from people who have tracked their cars. I never heard back from Invidia after repeated phone calls, so I took care of the problem myself. So if you track your Invidia'ed car please let us know!

cheers

djafactor, I hoped you would get a replacement system from Invidia, at the least an explaination.

After the repairs you made, is the system holding up?

I gave up on Invidia after trying for 3 months. The system is holding up but I noticed a slight rattle starting again yesterday. We have decided that this winter, while the car is in storage, we are going to take it off and use it as a template to build our own system. Like I've always said the power and sound from the system is great, too bad it is just falling to pieces.

I wish more people, that have tracked their cars with this system, would post. Maybe there arn't that many out there....
Amit, your system should not have failed the way it has. Best of luck with your new, scratch built, system. It looks like you have the right person to build it.... should come out great

I have had my Invidia exhaust for a couple thousand miles now and love it. I didn't like how far the tips stuck out the back, so I took them off, redrilled the holes, and moved them about an inch futher in. They now sit pretty much flush with the valence piece and look great.
