I hate wiskers!

Honda put these cheap tires on my 06CivicEX ..Bridgestone Turaza or something.
they handle good enough for a commuter, but they have those injection wiskers
on the sidewalls. I mean, literally hundreds!!

Everytime I sauce up the tires after a wash, I get sprayed in the face
by those wiskers flinging sauce back at me.

so, being ****, i took my snipers and cut each wisker off one by one.

Never had this problem on my previous tires (less Pirelli P6).

thanks for reading...

In the unending quest for the finer things in life, one sometimes has to take matters into your own hands. Well done!!!

My solution has typically been needle nose pliers, grab and just yank those suckers off.

My recently purchased KDW-2's came with only a couple. I was wiping down the tires today and . . . . . OMG!!! Is that a . . . . . BIG SCREW in the TREAD?!??!?!? Oh yes, big. <prays to the tire gods, twists it out, wipes his brow> It was only 1/2" long and didn't pierce the bladder. I wish everyone could keep their screws in their trucks.

Excellent news on the screw removal, though.

Wait until you get near 50 and start trying to figure out how to keep the eyebrows quiet.
