tire warning light

--Damn! My tire warning light came on this morning as I was pulling into the parking lot. I'm going to pump it up at lunch time and see if it leaks. Any suggestions for run-flat tire repair stations?

Lex Brodies quoted me $40!

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Looking for a shop that won't scratch my rims when they take the tire off.

Dude... my light has had false indications twice so far... usually happens when I park on an un-even hill or something like that... I always do a walk around if it comes on...but usually if you turn the car off and restart it will go away....

mine kicks in when i hit a pot hole or nasty uneven roads. i did noticed that it's very sensitive...but when it comes on, it makes this really neat "bing" sound...reminds me of ridding a plane and the seabelt sign lights up before takeoff..

Are you sure there is a hole? After you set the correct pressure, try and reset the tire pressure setting.

Nothing magical about runflats except the sidewalls. Just repair the flat like normal. If you picked-up a nail or something and it's repairable, I would suggest SLS#F08's place. Free and fast for you Keith.

Mucho grassius everyone!

--Thanks DKMini! I checked it at lunchtime with a tire gauge and got 30psi all around so I think Shawn and Louis are right, it's a false a alarm. I called MoH and Mike the service dude said he'd check it out tomorrow. I'm off after 8a.m. tomorrow so I'll swing by Mini to check it out and get my new windshield wipers too. He said there were no recalls or bulletins so It was probably a bad bump that set it off.

I was hitting so many manholes this morning I thought I was on a railroad track. The middle lane on Ala Moana blvd heading west from the shopping center is horrible. I usually stay on the left lane but this morning I was working at the Federal building so....

Thanks everyone!

Bachi me!

Keith,

Remember I said "ever since I put my RFs back on I haven't gotten a flat so I might as well put some performance tires back on"? Well, I bachi myself and today I heard tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap as I was leaving our place to drop off Jenna. I was thinking gahfahnit but my warning light didn't come on so I dropped her off and drove home. Guess what I found?

Well, I pulled that big bolt out , reamed the hole, filled with adhesive and shoved the plug in - took about 5 minutes max. Now I'm good to go for tomorrow's get together.

Tires felt loose so I was trying to tighten 'em up.

They are doing a lot of house construction on the lots here so for a while I was constantly picking up nails and bolts. I was due I guess.

--Hey DKMini sorry I set a bachi trap for you. Glad you fixed it quick. Man you guys should talk to those construction creeps. I used to work as a contractor slave and we used to have to keep thiings REAL clean before, during and after the job. Felt like I was always cleaning on the job.

Man we were so busy during the Arthritis event that I didn't even get a chance to check out your patch. I wanted to see the handy work of your speedy ninja patch!
