Wind Deflector - Pics?

Hi, everyone. Just got my MCSc with the checkered flag wind deflector. Does anyone else have it and could you direct me to or post pics? I was under the impression that the checkered flag portion (which seems almost invisible) would be facing the bonnet and not the boot. Just would like to confirm.

Thanks!

Not sure what the direction of the graphics should be, but the deflector side is forward. To post a picture, you first need to have it somewhere.

1. Add the picture to your gallery.
2. Then what I do is to bring the picture up in the window, right click and select properties.
What you'll get is the hyperlink to the location of the picture in the location field. Highlite and copy that address.
3. Start a post. Up above the text area are some icons, the second from the right is the picture icon. where you want the picture, click that icon, then paste the address (from step 2 above) into the pop-up box and select ok.
4. I always preview before posting to ensure I have the corect size and location.

How about official MINI pictures (these from the Morristown MINI eBay store):

I would expect the flag to be imprinted on the boot side, and the front side to be black making it easier for the driver to see through.

I will be picking up my PW cabrio in a couple of weeks. I haven't bought a wind deflector yet. I thought a checkered would look nice in a PW. But I've never seen one in a car. In another thread someone said that the checkers are really faint. I don't want to spend the extra bucks for checkers if you can't even see them.

Can anyone comment on how they really look ?

... although the style there is will work for the backseat passengers if your passengers are very, very, very small...

my two girls ( 3 n 5 years old ) really dislike the wind in their face feeling when there are seated in the back seat though they like the open top feel in the front seat;

so i am just thinking is there any way to customised a back seat wind deflector to make it more comfortable in the back ?

thanks in advance ;

Just a heads up - you don't have to pay the dealers prices - I just bought my wind deflector on ebay (from Ralph Schomp Mini in Denver - my old stomping grounds) for almost $100 less than the dealer quoted....

Interesting that Morristown Mini sells it on ebay for 325 for the regular and 360 for the checkered right now. Wonder if they would offer you that price if you came into the dealer?
