Just to let all my fellow sierranevadaminis know i arrived safe in Vegas on Sunday the 20th. Had to leave Tahoe early because of weather. Arrived 10pm..... Monday was spent getting new tires and visiting with local mini club. Tuesday i waited for arrival of fellow redwoodempire minis. 4 arrived at 5pm.We got together for dinner. It is now Wednesday morning and am at a internet cafe for the 5th time enjoying the city.Will check back later and report my Mini adventures to you. Glenn

update fellow Mini owners.. Spent wed. again visiting with owners. had a very good dinner with friends Howard and William.. Randy Webb arived at Midnight with two race Mini's. Got up thurs. morning a helped set up parking lot for the vendor spaces..as the day went on more and more mini's arrived. It's now 2pm and am at the Hotel Business center logging in..It's getting warm outside.. I cannot keep the smile off my face..This is sooo cooool...glenn

 

It's friday and now the parking level is filling fast. must be over 150 Mini's so far.Have met new and old friends from before.More will arrive today and tomorrow.Will be heading to Hoover Dam with group at 9:30. Show and shine also going on today.Other events for today include driving academy, drive out to Red Rock and an evening mixer. Stay tuned for more...glenn

My last post was on Friday. Here is my update. Drove out to Hoover Dam, and my Mini overheated at our rest stop. Turns out that i have issues with my 2002 Mini and the power steering fan and related electrical wiring harness. Was able to get back to town and then it overheated again on way to the Dealership. Under warranty had power steering fan and termostat replaced. Has run fine since. Desert Mini was able to correct the problem and return the Mini late friday. They saved my ***. Enough about that.
WOW, 200 plus Mini's.. Look for photo's in upcoming links..Either Sin City,Norcal,Redwoodempire Etc. We had a quick drive down the strip, The Banquet had over 300 people, The day at the Track was fun for all. What a fun drive out to the Valley of Fire. Came home on Monday afternoon. A quick 8 plus hour drive. We did make the new issue of MC2. Glenn

 

Sorry to see your MINI had the overheating problem. I saw the smoke and antifreeze bursting out... Good job from Desert MINI to get you back on the road same day!!! Keep on motoring Glenn!
