You know that fan that comes on automatically in the engine compartment a few seconds after you turn off your car? (I'm assuming it's a cooling fan, all my previous cars have had it.)
Well, anyway, is it just me or is the MCS's fan a lot louder than other cars'?
Mine seems to be really loud, and I'm wondering if that's normal. It only lasts about 20 seconds, and usually comes on only after "spirited" driving, but MAN, does it make a racket!

i'm in cold climate. have never heard my fan run after shutting off car yet. must be too cool. When my fan is running, it's not loud at all.

Maybe it has more to do with your lack of speed limit

Where you from?

mine was making a rubbing sound so I brought it by my dealer and a piece was loose. Not sure if this is your problem cause the fan noise is a little louder than most others.
