Autocross with SCCA in a "stock MCS" can "smoke" the competition as it did last event in my region.
With PAX handicap (for being in a stock class) a brand new (200 miles on the odometer) stock 2006 MCS with LSD light SSR comp 16x6.5" rims and 215/40-16 Kumho V710 tires came in first out of 110 cars (superbowl sunday no less)!
Just goes to show you that the stock MCS is a very capable and nimble car.
We had alot of good cars and good drivers out there trying their best.
Try going to your local autocross and see how the stock classed MINIs do.
