Hard decision to make!!

I have to make a decision..!!

I am planning to get a modification for my MCS soon and have just enough
budget for 1 thing...

I have 3 options.

-A-
15% Pulley and ECU mapping
(FOR MORE POWER!!! URRRGG)

-B-
Wilwood BBK
(Very unsatisfied with stock brakes + looks)

-C-
KW Variant 1 Coilover
(++ for attacking corners and looks)

Ooooooh I am really having hard time now a days...

Any suggestions? What would you do if you have pick ONLY one?

My 2 cents...if you are really dissatisfied with the stopping power of the brakes, do them 1st. Adding more power will only make you more dissatisfied with the anchors. Do you really need to mod the suspension?

Given the way you phrased your question, I'd say brakes 1st.

My personal choice was power. I have stock brakes and suspension (and still running runflats) with a 15% pulley and a HAI.

"A"...you will still have enough braking and suspension to handle this power increase. When you go beyond "A", then you can escalate the other two to keep your performance envelope even.

Vote for Upgrade A, final answer!

To be honest, I would go with the power upgrade(A). My car has upgraded brake pads and stainless steel lines. I think it stops really well for having stock rotors and calipers. I don't believe the brake pads and the SS lines would cost too much it you took that route. Hope this helps.

The original brakes are fine for now. I would do "A" first as well.

didn't your new Kazera's help in the braking capacity?

if not, brakes first, then suspension, then muscle.

I always setup handling before power. a slight disadvantage
of power can be recovered by handling and better driving.

How about pulley, brake stiffening kit and SS brake lines? That would give you both perf. gains and improved brake feel.

Can I interest you in a slightly used set of brakes?

Since my upgrade to StopTech, I'm selling the following for $250:

1-Front slotted/drilled rotors (stock size)
2-Front calipers double coated Red
3-Front braided lines
4-Front EBC RedStuff pads
5-Rear slotted/drilled rotors
6-Rear EBC RedStuff pads

The rear rotors stayed on my Mini. The rotors and pads are still very fresh.

While my opinion my appear biased, I wish I had a dollar for every customer who at one time called back to tell me he wished that he'd done the brakes first, not last.

The comments usually go like this:

"I enjoy them every day at all speeds. Every time I step on the brake pedal I know right were my money was spent. Can't say that for 5hp"

Thank you all!!

Thank you all for opinions~~~

I will probably go for A (pulley + ecu) or C (coilover)

and I will try upgraded brake lines and pads...

Enjoy your weekends !!
