Giant Bow?

Anyone know how to make a giant bow for a car, specifically a MINI? Not the cheesy single knot dealies - I'm talking the kind you put on birthday cakes!

Thanks (is this considered an exterior car mod ?)!!!

Is this to present a MINI as a present? I have been to my MINI dealer several times when someone is coming in to pick up their MINI and I guess was surpirsing their spouse, so the dealer had a big bow on top of it, a really nice bow too. You may ask your dealer if they have any

Not my MINI : ) But... I have been commissioned by a friend to make one for a car of theirs, and I figured, hmmm... someone here must know how to do this.

Oh, and I must add...

That it will be used on my MINI for a small photo shoot before it is given to the person using it.

I can tell you where to get the on the bow -- red, white, or green. 22" diameter

Go to http://www.karkare.com $27.95 + shipping.

Go to the left where it says windshields and displays, click on the down arrow, and go to bows.

I'm laughing at the "low" price, though that is a TON of velvet.

I made a bow for our Honda Civic when I gave the car to my daughter as a surprise...( I bought my MINI when I disposed of our Civic) {sorry daughter..ha ha}.....I made a BIG bow myself.....went to a fabric or craft store and bought a roll of 4" wide purple satin-like ribbon for $8 and made the bow by making a bunch of 3 foot loops and simply stapled them in the middle of the bow as I went along......as I added more loops i made them smaller and smaller so they piled up on eachother higher to look like a bow.....then I used more ribbon directly to go around the car width-wise and length-wise and then taped the bow to the top of the car on top of the ribbbon......good luck

Aggg! $200.00??????? For shipping?

I was laughing that they called it a low price, while recognizing velvet isn't cheap. I hope it came across that way. I reread the description. "Flocked" velvet. Ha! Not real. Way overpriced (it was already overpriced). Will try to follow your directions umberto.
