Am I doing something wrong?
After reading numerous threads about 8-step Zaino processes, I think I may be doing something wrong.
I drive my car. If it's dirty, it's b/c it's been driven. If it gets too bad, I wash it... then drive some more. I'm starting to think I should be Zaino-ing instead of driving.
Flame-suit on... Fire away!
Damn disgruntled mondays...

I never used to bother with the huge detailing process. Then, I washed, clayed, swirl removed, polished, waxed, etc, my car.. and the results were phenomenal! Now, I actually enjoy detailing my car. I still drive it. It still gets dirty. But, when its a really nice day out, and I don't want to sit on my butt in a car, I go out and spend a few hours washing and waxing. I consider hand washing to be part of our bonding time.. and the results are incredibly gratifying.
Its not Zaino-ing instead of driving. Its Zaino-ing in addition to driving.

I can never seem to get myself to wash Zooty, I go out to the garage, put the key in the ignition to pull her out, and before I know it I'm off on a back road somewhere bothering cows!
Then about a hundred miles later I return, and think "maybe tomorrow."

Zaino is one of the best things I ever did to Camel. The car looks better than new 17 months after delivery.
This past weekend it was pretty dirty with a layer of dust on it, but at 10 feet away you just cant tell, and someone next to me said "Wow, you just wash your car?" And I was like, "No... take a closer look there is a layer of dust on it." LOL.

Guys like me that like driving use NXT Techwax. easy on, easy off,
very durable polymer wax, beautiful shine. (and readily available on
the market at a very economical price). I personally don't enjoy
washing cars.

1 month after the first 2 coats, over 2 days, of the "waxing" season up here,Poco still looks great after a wash.Thats a month of more snow, rain and very dirty roads.I wash at least once a week, twice in the winter, always.
I find I can use my duster on the boot, and not have to detail spray as much.
