I own a Large top mounted Alta Intercooler. I lost my valve.
and need a replacement.

Mine feel off and punctured my driverside runflat on the highway. Alta wants like $45 dollars to replace?

 

Do you have any pictures of what it looked like?

How exactly did it hook up? I got my TMIC second-hand and it didn't come with the sprayer so I'm in the dark as to how it was set-up. If it was simple we could probobly buy our own stuff from the hardware store.

 

The black post on the bottom right is the sprayer valve. It was attached from behind with a hose clamp. If I remember correctly.

 

And the hose goes from there to where? I believe I recall someone saying it is hooked up to the rear windshield wiper?

 

That is correct. The Rear windshield wiper hose uses a T coupler to connect to the sprayer. I am not a big fan that. I would love to find a seperate motor and switch to activate it.

 

ummm...no...it should be hooked up to your N2O purge Just kiddn...you're correct. It can be hooked up to the rear washer line.

BTW...If you find the lost sprayer...send it back, Alta will be happy to replace it as soon as they receive it

 

Alta will replace the damaged one? I think I still have it.
