Best adjustable shocks / coilovers for 2025 JCW Convertible (F67) — comfort + track
I'm looking to add adjustable shocks to my 2025 JCW because the stock "adaptable" dual valve suspension is just too stiff for daily driving. My goal is something that can be adjust to the S level or a little softer for daily driving but still adjust to fairly stiff setting for driving on the track. I'm considering either the Ohlins Road & Track MCS MU00S1 or the Bilstein B16 PSS10. First, can someone confirm if an F57 shock will fit in the newer F67 chassis? Any comments or experience with either shock?
I ran a set of Ohlins on an NC Miata for years.. tons of street and track use, and they made their way over to my actual race car up until I replaced them with Penske.
Fantastic coilovers, IMHO. Great dual purpose, and the adjustment range and internal bypass setup really worked in all situations. If it weren’t for the cost, they’d be a default buy going forward for me. I’ve watched them steadily go up in price.
Over the years, I’ve tried many different coilovers from many different brands. And many shock/spring combos… and I liked the Ohlins the best of all of them. I absolutely loathe Koni..and *some* Bilstein models feel very similar to them - very stiff, tons of compression dampening. You may not like them.

Thanks for the reply and great info. I’m sold on the Ohlin’s but wait on some confirmation they’ll actually fit the new mini chassis. Several people have said the “should” work, but I’m waiting to see if I can find someone who has actually installed them. Ohlin and other manufactures won’t comment if they’ll work or not with the new 67 chassis.
