KW V1 or V2? Owners, help me decide!

I want to lower it for looks (of course), it will be my daily driver, but I also want to take it to track days about 8 times per year, so I don't really need anything like the V3's or more expensive race-oriented coilovers.

V1's seem perfect for the commute and looks, but will they be ok for those occasional days when my wife and I race the Mini around cones in a parking lot?

My only question about the V2 is once installed, how difficult is it to adjust the rebound? It seems that the front coilovers would be easy, but the rears would be difficult to adjust.

Thanks!

I am running the V1's on my r53 and have been very happy with them. I did not want the V2's because I did not feel like taking the rear shocks out to adjust the rebound. I had Koni yellows before which are rebound adjustable as well and I never bothered. The V1's are perfect for daily driving and track use.

I had H-sport springs and M7 springs before the V1's, and the V1's are very similar to the H-sport ride quality. However, the rebound is very impressive and is alot better then the Koni shocks I was running before. KW really set the rebound to a perfect stage between good ride quality and great performance. I do plenty of canyon driving and so far the KW V1's are my favorite setup.

If you are not going to be messing with the rebound adjustments, then you do not need anything more then the V1's.

The V2's I had before were set on "HARD" and that's it... I never played with it.. The only thing i often changed was the ride height... so When i had to buy a new set.. i went voor V1's ... easy "earned" money as I don't need the rebound feature!

Cheers
