Gas Lid

Has any one seen this gas lid? I found it on www.vmaxx.de but I can't read the site. I would like to find it on a US part site so I could find out how it mounts and maybe order it. I have found some that look close but not one that looks as good as this one.

I've seen these or similar ones at Moss MINI. The second one looks very familiar. Can't remember the brand--but I thought it was from Germany and costs something ridiculous like $600.

Btw, your gas lid image can't be displayed that way. It needs to be accessible on the Internet. Since every NAM member has a gallery, I would upload it there by using the Manage Attachments feature when editing/creating a new post.

I talked to a rep from sparco- he said it must be custom fit. Probably an easy job for anyone dealing w/ body work, though...

Probably a fitting nightmare Those "generic" caps appears to have no contour and the Mini's bodyside is crowned.

Yea, probably right. I love the look but I won't be the guinea pig.

I have an '05 MC so I'll just do the "S" conversion. The ring needs to be painted but aren't there any chrome or carbon rings avalible?
