Exclamation R60 diverter valve no shift at wot

Just installed the ecs diverter valve spacer yesterday. Everything seemed to be good and today I went full throttle through 2nd gear and it just stops at the shift point and holds the rpm there. Runs fine in sequential mode. Any ideas?

Paddle shifting works fine, auto it hesitates at the shift point for about 2-3 seconds

Weird, the DV spacer just lets off the boost. If the factory DV sticks or goes bad it throws a code.

The stumble of shift seems like a transmission issue. See if you can use the schwaben scan tool and pull a code, sometimes those codes dont come up when the CEL light comes one.

Make sure its not doing this:

Some people change the fluid first. I would see if you have some internal MINI codes also. https://minicooperforums.com/forum/0...mission-12881/

No codes at all from my scanner except engine too cool. It wasn't doing it before the spacer, I wonder if I damaged the valve diaphragm when installing?

That could happen, they like to tear when touched. Older design likes to act up also.

Newest design here:

So back with an update. The upgraded valve didn't fix the issue, but I've realized that it's hitting boost cut for some reason right around 13lbs. If I shift manually at 12lbs it runs out smooth.

I heard of issues with sticky wastegates on the n14 and n18 turbos. Thus you cannot get into full boost and it cuts out on WOT pulls. Then at some point you will throw a CEL. It was a problem with the early N18 turbos.
