On my r55 I have added a 2nd reverse light using the old fog light wire on the driver's side. I was looking to add rear fogs that would come on with the fronts. Instead of buying a rear fog switch and reprogramming, I was going to jumper the front fog output to the rear fog output wire. But, since that wire is jumpered over from the reverse light on the passenger side, I am thinking of 2 options:

1. Cut the rear fog wire, attach the end that goes to the reverse light and then use the other half going to the FM to trigger the fogs. The downside is this isn't reversible so i was thinking of a different approach
2. Repin a new wire into the tailight for the reverse, and avoid cutting the old fog line

Are these connectors the Tyco MQS (https://www.te.com/usa-en/product-CA...&source=header) and what size they are? I could buy a used connector for $20, but seems silly if I can get the female terminals instead. I hesitate to cut the wire so would like to know other options.
