Intake snorkel pipe

Does anyone know if this part is supposed to click into place? It just sits on top and if I turn it over it falls out. There are tabs on it but it does not click together.

If all the tabs are there and the slots on the other main part are not broke (all appears to be ok), then you need to ensure the hook on the tab makes it past the slot to retain. Might have to push the thin outer wall of the slot to retain if they are deformed.

I'll double check all the tabs and try to push the lip on the tab over the connecting portion and see if that works. If I doesn't I'll probably just zip tie it together. Pretty sure gluing it together wouldn't be the right way to go since it seems like it was supposed to come apart. Thank you

Eh, its just an air guide for fresh air to the intake. I would dap a small bead of silicone on the seam and stick it together.

I think it was designed to go together easy with the snaps on the assembly line is all. Only reasonable way to produce that elbow shape with injection molding is two pieces and assemble. It would be OK to permanently have those pieces together with bonding. Running a zip-tie sounds like a good way to keep them together if the snaps are compromised.

Awesome! Thank you guys. Now, does anyone happen to know the torque on the clamp that connects the downpipe to the exhaust? I've heard 33ft and 18.4 ft pds.

25 ± 3 Nm (which converts to 18 ± 2 ft-lbs)
