I have a 2024 JCW convertible.
Iconic trim, so everything is blacked out. Well, everything except for the beltline, which is chrome, and that seems very odd to me.

Mini sells a black out kit, but strangely it's doesn't include the ENTIRE beltline.

I know of lot of folks have blacked it out in previous years, using vinyl tape. If I did it, I'd have it done at a good paint shop, for better durability.
- But that also means I won't be able to undo it, so I need opinions on this.

Do you think it will look good, or did Mini leave that one area of chrome for a good reason?

 

What color is your car? In my opinion, white and silver cars look better with the black belt line, and darker cars look better with the chrome.

It's Nanuqu white, though I might be painting it light yellow pearl. So that's one vote for black !
