On to my third MINI, and jumping another generation after my R55 dropped a cylinder and is not waiting patiently in the garage for a new engine. Picked up this 2017 S All4 Clubman on Friday and am very excited to have a newer MINI along with enjoying all wheel drive again. Looking forward to long enjoyment with this car. For now, no performance mods and will put that money into the R55.
Couple of things to attend to in the coming months, including upper and lower motor mounts, rear brakes, and the terribly squeaky clutch pedal.

Love mine. Have made a few performance upgrades and looking at a few more. At 95k miles with no major issues.

I feel for you on the squeaky clutch pedal. I also have the dreaded squeak. Apparently, this is a known issue. I had my mechnic replace the bushing and spring. Only took 2 weeks and it was back. They warned me it might come back, but not this quick! I'll be talking to the mechanic about this! Good luck on the new Clubbie.....see my mods in my signature....
Gearhead60 - The only quick fix I've found with research has been white lithium grease. Sprayed to the highest pivot point on each side. One quick spray on each side puts the squeak away for about 2 weeks so far with daily driving. For now, the $8 can of grease is worth it to me until it becomes a larger issue.
