Taillight wire not getting power.

Got an issue with my driverside taillight. I thought my taillight was bad but did some testing and found out that on the driverside plug, the yellow wire ( which is the driving light) is the only wire not getting any power. tested the old and new set of taillights on the passenger plug and they both work. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is anything else i can check before i rip apart the interior to trace the wire and look for a short.
The wire that's not getting power is the far left yellow wire. The pic is for reference.
