OBD wires + boost/volt gauges = no power?

So i went to re-wire all my gauges (prosport volt/boost/oil pressure/oil temp) because the connections were all bad. I cut, stripped, and then twisted together before being soldered together and taped closed. after reconnecting the harness to the gauges they didn't turn back on, and now my 12 volt constant wire on the obd port is cut and there is no power at all to that wire. I tested the wire and it wasnt showing any power at all. It doesnt make much sense to me.

Can the wire be dead? im not too good with electrical things but i did solder that wire so maybe i burnt it? I even cut where i soldered and tried to get power but couldnt. I ghetto rigged a wire from the cut obd harness wire, and the obd2 plug, then tried to read it and couldnt get a reading with my computer. Not even sure what that constant wire is for.

If anybody wants to help, the alta instructions show you which wire to go to for the constant 12volt.

Sorry if this makes no sense to some of you, im very agrivated with this mess and im still pissed with everything. Just hoping someone had this problem.

It turns out it was F3 (heated mirror). I changed the 2 burnt fuses i found that night except that one because i ran out of fuses and didnt think heated mirrors (which i dont have) would help haha.
Turns out i have power to that wire now, i'll let you know how it goes. Also should i put two gauges to that wire and the other two to another 12v source or all 4 to a different one? Which 12v constant would you guys use? Thanks alot chris!
