Digital gauge cluster not fitting

Hi all, just curious as to whether others have had issues installing the digital dash into their pre 2020 cars, I have a 2019 cooper s and have tried to put the new cluster in however the base plate seems to be catching with only the right hand side screw hole aligning, any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
thanks, Max

I retrofitted the digital cockpit or whatever MINI calls it into my 2019 F57 a couple years ago, and save for the coding that’s required, the install was very easy and I didn’t have any fitment issues.

I have made the cluster fit. It just need some further gentle persuasion. However after coding the car is now throwing a check drive train soon error but it drives just fine, from what I understand bmw cars tend to do this when you change coding, is this correct or should I be concerned ?

Anytime I use Bimmercode to do lighting changes one of those check drivetrain errors appears (Bimmercode then clears the codes, and that error does not return).

You haven't said what tool you're using or whether the code returns after clearing, so can't really tell you whether you are dealing with the same thing or not. If the code is returning after being cleared I would be concerned.
