Alternative instrument / gauge setup
Alternative instrument / gauge setup
So say you have the single big speedo in the center of your dash, and NOTHING ELSE...
What are some alternative gauge setups?
Can you remove the big central speedo, and then add a dash kit, with new smaller gauges centered on the steering column?
I hate not having a tach!
I'd love to see what gauge setups you guys are using.
Thanks!

Just go to minimania, minisport or sommerford mini and look up dashes...there's lots of custom stuff available, wood, metal, plastic, etc....
or make your own

this metal is available in 1/8" thickness at ACE hardware. I made mine.

I bought five gauges from Summit Racing that closely match the classic Mini gauges.
They are:
Mechanical water temp
Mechanical oil pressure
Voltmeter
Fuel gauge
Oil temperature
The water temp and oil pressure gauges replace the original gauges in the cluster, and the other three are mounted in a panel under the dash.
See attached picture
Hope it helps,
Jeff
